I’m Dana — a full-time wedding photographer, military spouse, passionate Swiftie, and dedicated world traveler. I believe your wedding should feel like an experience, not a checklist, filled with moments you actually get to be present for. Whether it’s the quiet anticipation before the ceremony or the joyful chaos of the dance floor, I’m there to capture it all so you can relive every second.
If you’re dreaming of a wedding that’s rich with connection, and light on stress, I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.
Why I do what I do.
Weddings have always held a special place in my heart — not just because of the beauty and celebration, but because of the people. As a military spouse, I know what it means to gather everyone you love in one place, even if only for a short time. That sense of togetherness is what drives me to document not just the timeline of the day, but the feeling of it — the hugs, the happy tears, the unspoken moments in between.
I started this business because I believe you deserve to feel your photos, not just look at them. And over the years, I’ve built a photography experience that’s full of trust, laughter, guidance, and calm — so you can be fully present, confident, and yourself.
My favorite part of this job isn’t just delivering beautiful galleries — it’s watching couples breathe easier because they feel seen, supported, and celebrated. Whether you’re planning a destination wedding in France or saying “I do” in Jacksonville, I’ll be there to capture the joy, the love, and all the little moments that make your day yours.
Enjoyment (n): the state or process of taking pleasure in something
"Stop searching and send your inquiry now. Dana is the best there is. Dana is a raw, genuine, and super fun person. She's got the perfect attitude and jokes that put my husband and I at ease. Like we've been friends for ages and we're just catching up. My husband and I are not models by any means but the pictures she took of us say otherwise. She has a glowing energy that shines through in her work. Every time I look at our wedding pictures, I feel everything I had felt in those moments."
- Mr. and Mrs. Norton
After years of photographing couples, I realized my favorite moments aren’t always the ones perfectly posed. They’re the ones where you forget I’m even there — when you’re holding hands during golden hour, or laughing so hard your cheeks hurt.
That’s why my work is about more than pretty pictures. I want you to feel your wedding day again every time you look back — every laugh, every quiet breath, every fleeting glance you didn’t even notice in the moment.
From our first call to the final gallery, I’m here to make the experience easy and joyful. I’ll guide you when you need it, step back when you don’t, and make sure the process feels effortless — so you can be fully present with your people.
Forever chasing golden light, love of tiny details that matter and and someone who believes the best moments aren’t posed — they’re lived

MY REALLY OFFICIAL BIO, the TL:DR VERSION
Dana is the photographer behind Destinations with Dana — a Navy wife, K-Drama fan, and a Delta Airlines frequent flyer who never photographs a wedding without her trusty Aspire in hand. She believes your wedding photos should feel like you: joyful, effortless, and full of heart. Whether you're getting married on the coast, under the oaks, or somewhere far from Florida, she’s there for every laugh, every happy tear, and yes — even when Mr. Brightside hits and the dance floor turns into a full-blown singalong — all while making sure you feel calm, cared for, and completely yourself.
NOW FOR THE IMPORTANT STUFF
Before I ever picked up a camera professionally, I earned my RBT certification and worked in behavioral therapy — helping people feel seen and supported has always been my thing.
The most thrilling moments of my life? Skydiving over Hawaii and climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge — apparently, I like my adventures with a view.
I was raised an Army Brat, married a Navy officer, and have lived in 7 states and 2 countries — which might explain why I love destination weddings so much.
I’m a lifelong Swiftie — I grew up near Taylor’s hometown, saw her open for Rascal Flatts (yes, really!), and went to the Eras Tour in both California and Tokyo. If you're planning a wedding with a “Lover” moment or a surprise Reputation dance floor drop, I’m already in.
Your at-a-glance guide to where I stand on all the truly important things.
Mille Feuille in France + donuts (because balance, right?)
Tom Hanks or Taylor Swift (bonus points if it’s together)
Potato chips dipped in melted ice cream — don’t knock it ‘til you try it
Owner of a free-range dog kennel — basically my dream life
Girona, Coastal France, Japan, and Santorini — I’ll always say yes to a destination wedding
Aspire — always packed for wedding days
Petting a dog at least once a day (preferably more)
Italian or Indian (bring on the carbs and spices)
Chincoteague Island — peaceful, personal, and always nostalgic
Bridgerton (yes, I swoon over the slow-burn romances), House of the Dragon, and Harry Potter marathons forever
I trained as a professional stylist at a luxury bridal salon in the Bay Area — so when it comes to bustling your train, fixing a dress on the fly, or helping with delicate details during getting ready photos, I’ve got you. You won’t just have a photographer… you’ll have someone in your corner who knows how to care for your dress and your peace of mind.
I’ve attended luxury retreats not just to capture beautiful content — but to learn from top industry educators on how to elevate the full client experience. From photographing wedding-day details to building a seamless timeline, I’m always investing in ways to make this feel effortless (and exceptional) for you.
Before and during my career as a destination wedding photographer, I’ve had the joy of traveling to 12 countries — many of them solo. That time exploring the world helped shape how I approach wedding days: with adaptability, quick thinking, and a calm, confident presence no matter where we are. Travel isn’t just part of my job — it’s part of who I am, and it’s a huge reason why destination weddings feel so natural to me.

You want a wedding photographer who still lights up from the moment they step off the plane, like it was their first time. No matter how many destinations I add to my travel resume, my eyes light up the same way - ready for adventure, and ready to share with you all of the joy.
