I’m Dana.
I take destination wedding photography seriously. If I’m going to book a flight and travel across the ocean for you, I should probably show you that I know what I’m talking about.

If you’re feeling inspired and in the middle of planning a wedding in France, then I would love to showcase some of my favorite France wedding photography.

Destinations with Dana

Hey, there! Welcome to the blog. My name is Dana and I am a full-time destination wedding photographer based out of anywhere the military moves us. Since 2017, I have been photographing weddings all over The United States and content all over the world. Traveling is something I enjoy; it brings me warmth. One of my favorite countries I have ever been and love going to, is France. Whether in Normandy, The French Riviera, or of course Paris, you will find me with a camera ready to capture art, history, meaning, and joyful photography between two loving people.

Wedding Details

Not favorited by some, styling together the details from your wedding day is something I always enjoy doing. It allows me to see your story through save-the-dates. It’s a time where I can get creative and photograph those gorgeous (yes even the tennis shoes) footwear you plan to wear during your wedding.

Nearly every time I see a pair of wedding shoes I admire, you’ll catch me saying “OH MY GOD SHOES. THESE SHOES RULE” whether outlaid or to myself. If you know where this is from, 10 bonus points to your Hogwarts house.

Getting to work with your invitation suite really does tell your story. I mean, the menu can showcase the foods you love. The invitation suite with the initiates and save the dates tell the story of why you chose your wedding destination location. Pair this with some ribbon, ring boxes, and ceramic dishes, and you have yourself the dreamy and story-telling details that you love to look at.

The Venue

If the photographer didn’t capture the details of a wedding venue, did they even do their job? Imagine describing to a friend who could not make it to the wedding what your venue looked like. They ask for photos and you say “oh my photographer didn’t get any, but here lets look on google.”

*my head is shaking*

Here is the thing, the venue also makes up your wedding day story. It can tell the viewer what your wedding day theme and vibe was like. Plus, who doesn’t want a photograph of the exact place they got married at? It tells your day through a photo and are so important. Do any of these speak to you?

Reception Details

Ahh yes, the reception. Aside from coming to party and seeing you and your loved one get married, the next important thing is the food. People will remember the food. They will remember how well it tasted, and the display that pulled it all together. You cannot go wrong with white china, crystal glasses, pink candle lit dinner, and the ever pouring sound of champagne at the table.

Ceremony Details | France Wedding Photography

How your ceremony comes together is what showcases what you want your guest to remember. White chairs on green grass is cute. But, what if there were florals along the aisle? Fans at their seats for the weddings on hot days? Or, a view of the French Riviera. Talk about a first impression to your guest on how this day is going to go down.

Atlas, we have some of the most memorable, the wedding photography of the bride and groom. Photos coming down the aisle, candids of you holding hands and walking in the courtyard. Doing a private toast at the champagne cart. Endless amounts of photo options for both you and your significant other to cherish forever and hang on those walls to brighten your house with love.
