WHY I JUMP OUT OF BED IN THE MORNING
I want to document every single moment of your wedding day. I know firsthand that sometimes you never know when you’ll want to look back and relive a specific memory. It’s not always the moments you expect to mean the most that do. Your first kiss matters, but so does that sweet first look with your Dad and the toast that made you laugh so hard you cried!
I BELIEVE LIFE SHOULD BE ENJOYED.
When I met my now husband in 2011, we both new a few minutes into dating that we were going to marry each other. What we did not know was that he would end up joining the U.S Navy as a Submarine Officer in the nuclear field.
This changed how we both lived and had us realize how precious our time together is.
We hired two photographers for our wedding to ensure we got as many shots as possible. Throughout our relationship, we booked photo sessions in Arizona, Virginia, and Italy. These photos bring us joy every time we look at them. Because it was the last time we were all together in one place. Or, a time we were together that kept us going during his deployments.
This is how I want to implament my services to my couples and one main reason why I love being a wedding photographer.
Enjoyment (n): the state or process of taking pleasure in something
Story time: A few years ago, I was already on a flight to Barcelona when riots started taking place at the airport. Thousands of people were starting fights, blocking roads, and limiting access to baggage claim. Once we touched down in Spain, myself (and hundreds of other confused travelers) were escorted into an arrival room until exiting the airport was “safe” again.
Why is that important? The more you travel and the more I photograph weddings, I know that anything can happen. This is why I am well trained to handle any obstacle, weather, or delay that comes our way on the wedding day.
When you start to plan your wedding day, there are a million and one things on your mind. At the end of your wedding day, all you’ll leave with is your photos and memories. I’m ready with the jokes and the camera so we can make sure every minute is a good one.
