As a light and airy wedding photographer, I wanted to share five North Florida Wedding Venues I love. These wedding venues are based in Jacksonville, on Amelia Island, and in St. Augustine, Florida. These wedding venues are perfect for couples getting married in North Florida and looking for wedding venues that are beautiful and have great options when planning a wedding.
My name is Dana, and I am a Wedding Photographer based in Florida. For the last four years, I have lived in Japan. During this time, I photographed weddings in France, Italy, and throughout parts of California. Since 2018, I have also attended educational photography workshops worldwide. Now I live in Jacksonville, Florida, where my business is based. I am so excited to feature these amazing wedding venues and share why couples like you would want to have your wedding here if you’re getting married in 2027, 2028, and even 2029! And if you are looking for a wedding photographer, be sure to reach out!
Located about 15 minutes west of JAX Airport, Tuscan Rose Vineyards brings Italy to the heart of North Florida. Tuscan Rose is my top favorite for this North Florida Wedding Venues list. Dedicated getting-ready suites for the bride and groom and their wedding parties, plus several ceremony and reception locations (indoor and outdoor) and endless photo spots. You can host your engagement session, welcome dinner, elopement, micro wedding, or full wedding day here. The wedding planning team is organized, detail-focused, and fun to work with.

When I first described this North Florida Wedding Venue, I called it the White House. But it’s so much more than that. The Karpeles Grand is located in Downtown Springfield. Just outside the city. This North Florida wedding venue not only hosts weddings but also fashion events and shows. The Venue was built in the 1920s, left in ruins, and then renovated to keep its charm while adding modern updates. Each wedding party has a very large getting-ready space and an indoor option for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. You can also host your ceremony outside in the front. Charming spots throughout are perfect for photography. Each staff member knows the history well and is very communicative with planning your wedding.

I am beyond excited to be on the Vendor Referral list for The Preserve, because this North Florida wedding venue is also one of my favorites! It’s located in a quiet area of the golf course and is run by an amazing group of wedding planners! Outside, in the ceremony area, you have a view of the water, and during an evening wedding, it looks beautiful. Indoors, there is a wide reception space to fit up to 300 people, and on each side, there is a dedicated getting-ready suite for both the bride, the groom, and the wedding party – stocked with drinks, snacks, and all the necessities. A hidden path is just steps away for first-look and formal portrait photography.

Lightner Museum – St. Augustine
The next North Florida Wedding Venue I wanted to share is located in St. Augustine. The stunning and famous Lightner Museum. This location is amazing for having a wedding indoors or outdoors, with different options for your ceremony and reception. Most couples get ready at nearby hotels, then come here for photos and to celebrate the rest of their wedding day. It’s an elegant and charming museum with character, so it is understandable why many get married here. I recently photographed an engagement session here, but I hope to photograph a wedding here one day!
The team members are friendly, detail-oriented, and here to make every moment magical!

The last location on the North Florida Wedding Venues list is La Venture Grove. I recently photographed a wedding here and fell in love with the venue. A family owns the on-site house and rents it for weddings, so couples and guests can get ready, use the bathroom, and relax before the day starts. On-site, you have locations for your cocktail hour, ceremony, and reception. Plus, a dedicated pier and great spots throughout for photography. I loved working with the wedding planning staff here because they stayed on top of the day’s planning and coordination all day long!

In the late evening, I took the drone up for some moody shots. Newly licensed in Florida, I am still getting used to flying this after sunset – but I loved how they turned out!

As I continue to settle in and book more North Florida Wedding Venues, I will be sharing with you all the ones I got to tour and photograph! North Florida has so many amazing venues. All with different designs, styles, and pricing.
