When to book a wedding photographer
Congratulations! This is such an exciting time for you. I know you and your partner must be feeling many emotions. There are a lot of questions that you may have and I know it can be stressful. This is why I am here to help.
In short, you should hire your wedding photographer right after you book your wedding venue. This is because a photographer is not able to help you if you do not have a venue or a date set in stone. When a venue and a date is locked in, it’s time to look for a wedding photographer.
On average, a wedding photographer is booked one year to 16 months out from the wedding date. The reason being is that a photographer is one of the most important parts of your day. They are there to photograph and document your memories and your experience.
Once a photographer is booked, a videographer, florist, and makeup artist should come next. This is to ensure you have a wonderful team set in stone for your wedding day!
