Hey, I’m Dana, owner of Destinations with Dana. I want to say welcome and that I am so glad you are here! This destination wedding photography business was long over due and took over a year to build and put together. I am so excited that we have launched and are now accepting European weddings starting in 2023.
Meet Dana
Hi, again. Did I mention how excited I am to be here? I have been a full-time wedding photographer since February 2017. Unlike most wedding photographers, my story is different. My husband is currently in the US Navy, and so we move around. A lot. My photography business started in Hawaii. Following this we moved to Virginia, California, and now, we are off to Japan. Which means I have moved my business twice, once during a pandemic, and now for a third time to another country. All in four years.
However, I love being a wedding photographer so much, that I did what ever it took to make this happen. To continue serving couples all over the country, and now, the world.
If I am not photographing weddings, I am traveling. My husband and I love exploring new places and have been all over Europe and Asia. We have no kids, and are proud dog parents to our Boxer girl Karma.
Destinations with Dana
As mentioned, this business was long over due. After only being a wedding photographer for two years, many have told me I should start working in Europe. Personally, I shook it off because I did not think I was qualified enough. But, that changed in 2020 and 2021. I knew for a fact that I do have what it takes and so this business was finally created.
Destinations with Dana has a focus on serving couples who want to get married in Europe. They want to say I Do in the City of love and then the following day, wake up the next morning and go to the local cafe down the block. The couples who want to marry in Europe love food, architecture, and creating ever lasting memories in the city they traveled to just a few years ago.
Whether eloping in Paris, hosting a wedding in South of France, or wanting to get married with their close friends and family in other parts of Europe, Destinations with Dana wants to be the one to capture that perfect wedding event that is meant and planned for you!
I am so excited to be here, and cannot wait to serve the amazing couples who hire me to photograph their wedding day!
