Many attended this Bargetto Winery wedding for Christian and Maria. Many moons ago though, both these two did not realize that this day would come. Maria and Christian were traveling from different parts of the world to live in Paris, France. It was the english church where they met and grew a strong friendship. Today, I am sharing with you their story from start to finish and where it got them to this day!
Destinations with Dana
Hey, there! My name is Dana Arnold and I am the photographer/creater of Destinations with Dana. As a destination wedding photographer, I travel all over the U.S and the world to document and create moments from your wedding day. I truly love what I do, which is serve my couples well, provide them the best personable experience I can, and be the trusted one to photograph their day!
Meet the Couple
Christian and Maria are a pair that I will never forget. Their desire to serve their friends and family, travel the world (or just the town) together as a couple, and their love for game nights and music brings me such happiness and hope. I asked these two what their favorite thing was about each other. Maria told me that Christian makes her feel safe, be seen and heard, and just loves him for making her laugh. Christian feels as though Maria is someone who is always so enthusiastic and is caring for others around her.
Both love the office and so Christian decided to plan his proposal like Michael proposed to Holly, by taking her to all the important parts of their relationship. It started with a crepe place (since they met in Paris, after all). Each stop resembled something important in their relationship. Christian wrote a letter for each one, and then played music at each location as well to represent a memory. They finished their day at Wilder Ranch over looking the ocean where they got down on one knee. Maria said YES and they finished their day at this Italian Restaurant to represent her heritage.
Bargetto Winery Wedding
This well deserved wedding day for these two have finally arrived. Guests from all over the world have traveled in to see Christian and Maria get married. The plan throughout the day was to use different parks in the area for photos. Starting at a secluded creek for their first look, and ending at a local park for the whole wedding party.
Bargetto Winery, although not the biggest space, sure does have some good spots for portraits. I love the green truck in the front, Grandma’s house for bride and groom photos, plus the patio for both the ceremony and reception. One of my favorite memorable moments was when the guest threw a bunch of petals in the air when they were announced as husband and wife. One of my favorite shots to date, if I am being quite honest.
The day finished with some incredible speeches about our couple. Following was Christian and Maria playing the guitar and singing their wedding song and mingling with the guests. Now that they are married, their goals for each other as husband and wife are to simply live a healthy, happy, and meaningful life. Where they support each others dreams and travel along the way.
Congratulations to Christian and Maria on your wedding. I wish you both all the best as you continue your relationship traveling the world!
