From the beginning, this session was long in the planning. With Bo serving in the Navy, schedules were not always easy to align. However, that made this day feel even more meaningful. It was not just an engagement session. Instead, it was time intentionally carved out to slow down and be together. Especially since he had just gotten back from deployment!

When it came time to finding the right location for their photos, I had found this place through IG and sent it to Reesah. Turns out, the Filoli Gardens is a place she went to many times as a kid. So, it felt extra special doing these engagement photos at a location that has always been in her life.
No map was needed. But instead, we walked through the gardens to find the best locations and the best lighting. I was so amazed at the beauty of the Gardens, and that every spot was perfect for their engagement photos at Filoli Gardens.
Meaningful Moments and Memories during their Filoli Gardens Engagement Photos
One of their favorite memories together is their trip to Kauai, where they got engaged. They talked about discovering their favorite beach and spending time with family, which made that experience even more special.
That same energy carried into their session. There was a sense of excitement for what is ahead, but also a deep appreciation for everything they have already experienced together.
Looking ahead, they are most excited to continue growing through each stage of life side by side. Their vision for marriage is simple in the best way. They want a life that feels fun, secure, and full of love.

Aside from the Gardens being a location that meant something to Reesah, it was the perfect location as their San Francisco wedding is also in a garden overlooking the Bay Bridge. A wedding that will be amazing with a beautiful view, fresh blooms, lots of greenery, and a quiet space for these two to have their intimate wedding.
