For those of you new around here, welcome! My name is Dana and I am a light and airy wedding photographer who enjoys photographing weddings for amazing couples. With my business based out of California, you will find me working with couples who are getting married in the Monterey area. Whether it’s photographing a gardener ranch wedding, or at the beach house in Monterey. The Bay Area has always felt like home for my business. A favorite collaboration I have done was at Gardener Ranch, along with a few other amazing local wedding vendors. We put together an amazing shoot for the newest collection at the local wedding dress Boutique Epiphany Bridal. The dress shop is based out of Carmel-by-the-sea and we were able to lock in the Gardener Ranch Wedding venue.

There are many ways for you to have a reception at the Gardener Ranch wedding venue. You can host your reception indoors in one of the many ballrooms and open floors they have available. Our first inspiration was in the room with the fireplace. I loved the chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Imagining it as a perfect mantle for decor if your wedding reception or dance floor is in this room!

Outdoor Reception Set-Up

If you are looking to have your reception outdoors, this lawn is the perfect area. Whether for small weddings or larger gatherings! We even added a nice bar so you can get a feel for the wedding day vibe and look!

Wedding at Gardener Ranch

One of the best ways to celebrate your wedding day and enjoy the experience is by getting a wedding car! Local company Monterey Touring Vehicles have incredible options and can even deliver the car to you! We rented this beautiful classic.

Golden hour portraits at Gardener Ranch Wedding Venue

Here is the thing with Gardener Ranch, is that golden hour ends quickly and sooner than other venues. This is because the sun goes over the mountains and “sets” so it gets darker even though there is still an hour of daylight left. These were taken two hours before the sun even went down. I think they are still beautiful!
