While Evie and Connor are here in Florida for vacation with Connor’s Family, they wanted to get some St Augustine Engagement Photos done in the city and on the beach. Evie reached out back in early May, and I was so excited to get their inquiry. After chatting with them, I knew that this was going to be an amazing engagement session!

St Augustine Engagement Photos at Lightner Museum

After weeks of planning, it was time for their engagement photos! Their wedding will be held at an estate next year at an estate in Northern Atlanta. With this, I knew that their engagement photos here in St Augustine should start at The Lightner Museum. We booked the 5pm to 6pm slot in the Garden and along the side with the hanging lanterns.

This was our first part of the engagement photos. The focus was more so on a romantic vibe. Connor’s outfit was put together by Evie, where the clothes were from a golf attire company that Evie works for. As for her first dress at The Lightner Museum, it’s from Sabo.

Throughout the first half of their St Augustine Engagement Photos, we focused on getting them feeling comfortable in front of the camera. When you’ve never had your photos taken before, I know it can be a bit scary. But, Evie and Connor did great! They are so sweet, and every so often, I caught them gleaming at each other with such joy and love! Within 30 minutes, these two became pros in front of the camera! Sharing sweet moments together, laughing, and just embracing each other. It’s as if these two are two peas in a pod!

We finished our time at Lightner Museum by photographing a few fun and romantic moments along the walkway with the columns. It honestly reminded me of photographing at The Louvre. The light was perfect, and it was a great way to add a variety into their gallery from the Museum!

Engagement Photos at St. Augustine Beach

To finish up their St Augustine Engagement Photos, we drove 14 minutes up the road to North Beach Park. Connor changed shirts, and Evie changed her dress! Her second dress was from anthropologie.

For this part of their engagement photos, we wanted to focus more on fun and candid. I loved photographing these two on the beach, and it was a great way to end their session. It’s great seeing candid also fit their vibe. Between playing tag, running around, splashing in the water, and just being together while they walk on the beach, they nailed every part of it! Plus, the breeze and cool water felt so good since it was just over 100 degrees.

Connor and Evie are so playful, and throughout the whole session, nailed every part of their engagement photos. I know they mentioned they never had photos done before, but honestly, you could never tell in the photos!

I am truly so grateful that these two hired me to photograph their engagement session. I loved getting to spend a few hours with them at some beautiful and iconic places here in St. Augustine, Florida, and I can’t wait to follow along with them as they get married and enjoy their life together!
