Paris engagement photos are always magical — but this morning with Austyn and Sara felt especially meaningful. The streets were calm, the light was golden, and the city seemed to pause just for them. We wandered together through some of the most iconic spots in Paris, just a few days before their wedding in Angers, France at Chateau Allure Du Lac. It was Austyn’s first time in the city, and every step felt full of wonder and excitement.
Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel

We started their Paris Engagement Photos just after sunrise at the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, a historic monument that often gets overshadowed by its bigger sibling across town. But it’s equally beautiful, especially in the early light. Built in the early 1800s, this arch was designed to celebrate Napoleon’s victories. Today, it serves as the perfect frame for a couple in love, standing at the threshold of one of the most romantic cities in the world.

Paris Engagement Photos at The Louvre Pyramids

From there, we walked across the plaza to one of the most iconic spots in Paris — The Louvre Pyramids. These striking glass pyramids, designed by I. M. Pei in the 1980s, sit in bold contrast to the classical architecture of the palace behind them. That balance of old and new mirrors what this moment felt like: timeless love with a fresh beginning.

Austyn was visiting Paris for the first time, and you could feel the wonder in every glance. The way he held Sara’s hand, gently and intentionally, was so genuine. They both wore soft neutral tones — breezy, elegant, and perfectly suited for these summer Paris Engagement Photos. Their smiles came easily, and their laughter filled the square. It was like watching a love story unfold in real time.

Jardin du Palais Royal

Next, we made our way to Jardin du Palais Royal, one of my favorite tucked-away gems in Paris and perfect for some engagement photos. With its famous black-and-white striped columns and peaceful gardens, it offered a playful change of pace. The columns are part of an art installation called Les Deux Plateaux, created in the 1980s. They brought such a fun energy to the shoot. Austyn stood tall on one of the columns while Sara smiled from another, their eyes locked, completely lost in the moment! It was so cute!

Paris Engagement Photos in Tuileries Garden

Our final stop for the Paris Engagement photos was Tuileries Garden, a romantic oasis between the Louvre and Place de la Concorde. Designed in the 16th century and later redesigned by André Le Nôtre, the gardens are filled with wide tree-lined paths, manicured hedges, and classic green chairs. Austyn and Sara strolled between the trees, pausing for quiet moments and joyful embraces.

We ended the shoot sitting by the roses, where the blooms were in full glory. Pale blush, soft ivory — they framed the couple in such a delicate, natural way. I watched as Austyn gently leaned his forehead against Sara’s, and in that moment, everything was still.

A Breakfast to end the amazing morning!
After the paris engagement photos were done, we tucked into a nearby café for breakfast. Croissants, coffee, and conversations flowed easily. We talked about their upcoming wedding in Angers — how the week would unfold, how their families were arriving, and what parts they were most excited for. They shared their plans for exploring Paris together and how this trip already felt magical.
This session wasn’t just about the photos. It was about slowing down and savoring a once-in-a-lifetime moment before the whirlwind of wedding festivities began. We got to know each other better, and more importantly, Austyn and Sara got to soak in the feeling of being just the two of them, in the heart of Paris, with the whole adventure still ahead.
