It’s time to share with you my 2022 year in review and I can honestly say, this has been the best year to date for my business!

First, I wanted to say thank you for supporting my business and blog, and welcome! My name is Dana Arnold and I am a wedding photographer who travels all over California and Europe to photograph loving and joyful couples getting married.
Being a full-time wedding photographer for almost five years now, I cannot help but feel so grateful for all I have done. The couples I got to meet and serve, the venues I got to photograph weddings at, and the vendors I got to meet and work with. Every single one has lead me to have an incredible experience.
This -job- is the only thing I can see myself doing for several more years down the road. I truly love what I do, and I hope to be your wedding photographer!
2022 Year in Review
Indeed, 2022 has been the best year yet. For so long, Dana Arnold Photography was my pride and joy. I really wanted to start a destination wedding photography brand that showcased that lifestyle. Therefore, I made 2022 the year it was all going to happen. I created the name Destinations with Dana, and got to work from there. This year, I attended four luxury high-end retreats in UK, Portugal, France, and Greece. There, I studied fine-art photography with high-end vendors all over Europe. I watched. I got creative and I even stuck with some originality just to see what worked and what did not.
That’s how I learned, grew, and adjusted from there. This 2022 year in review, I have met so many incredible people at these retreats who have become wonderful friends and supporters. With only being in business for half a year, I know the growth will only grow stronger as time goes on. I cannot wait to see where this business takes me!

This was the other business. The one that is almost five years old and has proudly served couples in seven different states over the last four years. When it comes to this 2022 year in review, I got to serve wonderful couples in California and photograph said weddings at some of my favorite venues to date. Sorry, Virginia, but you can’t top California.
This wedding photography business has also grown so much since I moved here to California. From Hawaii to Virginia, then to Cali, I truly got to experience some of the best moments as a photographer. To be honest, I am not sure where this business will go over the next fear years, but I do know that Dana Arnold Photography is not going anywhere!
2023
Aside from sharing with you my 2022 in review, 2023 is set to be inspiring and meaningful. Both photography businesses will have a much more impact on my growth as a photographer. You can expect my business to work less, but serve couples and clients with such heart, compassion, and relationship driven. I want to be able to give my all to the couples and family I serve and to do that, a new plan has been made. Maybe some will call me crazy for being more selective on who I photograph but I feel like if anything, this is what will be beneficial. Serving couples not just for their venue or budget, but because we have a strong relationship and it will lead to a better experience.
So, in 2023, I will be only serving up to 10 weddings in the US and only 2 in Europe. In 2024, It will go down to 2-3 weddings in the United States and 5-6 in Europe. For me, I want to truly serve incredible and meaningful couples so I can take more time off and focus on truly living. Live so I can work, not work so I can live, is what my 2023 motto will be.
