Getting Bride Portraits done before the wedding day has become a trend in the recent years. I wanted to share some of my favorites!
Destinations with Dana
Hey, there! I’m Dana. Destination Wedding Photographer, dog mom, and lover of Taylor Swift and Korn. Yes, both of them. Serving amazing couples has always been a lifestyle of mine since 2018 when I went full-time. Getting to capture real, authentic moments for couples getting married is a dream. It shares their love story and the wedding day events all in one digital gallery.
Today, I am sharing with you some of my favorite bride portraits.
Bride Portraits
Whether you want to get bridal portraits done before the wedding day, or during the wedding day, these are something that have become a favorite. You (the bride) have worked so hard in finding your dream wedding dress. You spend hundreds of dollars on your hair and makeup, and got a wedding bouquet perfect for you. I truly feel like if you get bride portraits done, is has to be more than 20 minutes. Which is the average time the bride is in front of the camera for just herself.
Bride portraits should, in my opinion, last at least half an hour, and no more than 60 minutes. It’s time for just you (and me) to capture some images and just decompress. Give yourself alone time and get your photo taken of just you. It’s a time you can admire the details of your dress, take a walk down a path, or sit on the couch and have a rose.
Bride Portraits
Some of the best bridal portraits I have taken are when I had time to be creative. I love getting to take my time with my brides and really capture the fine details of their dress, hair and makeup, and flowers.
When capturing bride portraits, it’s important to get every shot you can and get a variety. The bride takes up so much time to get ready, so let’s show it off by capturing a lot of different shots!
When photographing bride portraits, it’s also a great time to add in the wedding flowers!
Bride Portraits are a great way to try something new!
Most of these bride portraits were done at Rocabella Santorini– if you are having a wedding here, I would love to chat with you on becoming your wedding photographer! Contact me here.
