A Chateau Allure du Lac wedding is perfect if you’re dreaming of getting married in France in a beautiful, private setting. This 19th-century chateau in the Loire Valley has everything you need — from peaceful ceremony spots to comfortable places for guests to stay. I love photographing weddings here because it’s easy to get to, has plenty of space, and feels relaxed.

Why This Venue is Great for the Right Couple
If you want a wedding that feels like a getaway without being hard to reach, this venue is ideal. It’s close to Angers, so your guests can enjoy the city’s shops and restaurants during the weekend. You’ll have plenty of space for both the ceremony and reception, plus the option to rent the whole estate for several days at a fair price. Catering options nearby make it easy to plan a delicious meal, and getting to the chateau from Angers by taxi or Uber is simple. It’s a great choice for couples who want a full wedding weekend without the stress.

Chateau Allure Du Lac Location
The chateau is near Grez-Neuville, one of the prettiest villages in the Loire Valley. It’s only 20 minutes from Angers, which has plenty of shops and restaurants. You can reach it from Paris in about 1 hour and 25 minutes by train, or fly into Nantes airport, which is about an hour away. The chateau can even help arrange transport from the airport or train station.

Ceremony Spots
You have a few great options for your ceremony here. There’s a lakeside gazebo on a small island with big, beautiful trees overhead. There’s also a Gothic chapel inside the chateau if you want something indoors. After the ceremony, you can have drinks on the Lakeside Terrace before dinner in the Courtyard or the Silver Dining Room. The Grand Salon is perfect for dancing after dinner.

Reception Spaces
The Silver Reception Room is elegant and easy to access for guests. You can also plan your reception in the Grand Salon, Salle du Jardin, or outside in the Courtyard or by the lake. The team can help with catering, flowers, a wedding planner, and anything else you might need.

Staying at Chateau Allure Du Lac
The chateau can sleep up to 28 guests in 14 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Every room is decorated differently, and they all feel cozy and inviting. The Tower Suite is a favorite — it’s two stories and has a painted ceiling. There are also four bedrooms that can be set up for kids. If you need more space, there are extra apartments a short walk away, plus local bed and breakfasts.

Chateau Allure Du Lac Wedding Prices
From March to September 2025, weekday rates are between €1,711 and €2,282 per night for 15 guests. Weekend nights are between €2,565 and €3,423. A full week is between €11,975 and €15,975. Why I Love This Venue
Chateau Allure du Lac isn’t just beautiful — it’s a place where you can truly relax and enjoy time with your people. There’s a pool, tennis court, gardens, a 9-hole golf course, and so many spots for photos. It’s a great choice if you want a wedding weekend that feels like a getaway for everyone.

As a Provence Wedding Photographer, I help couples capture their wedding weekends in a way that feels joyful, relaxed, and personal. I photograph celebrations across Europe and California, creating images that tell the full story — from the quiet moments before the ceremony to the laughter late into the night. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, present, and able to enjoy every second while I document the memories you’ll treasure for years.
