Erica and Jordan planned a Tuscan Rose Vineyards Elopement while still living in the Charleston Area. They wanted to get married privately at a wedding venue here in Jacksonville that gave a destination vibe. Tuscan Rose does feel very Italian, and it was exactly what Erica and Jordan wanted for their destination elopement. What’s crazy is that this happened right at the beginning of a hurricane that was out in The Golf. The whole week, it was non-stop rain and storms. But, by the Grace of God, it stopped raining during their elopement. So we were still able to marry these two outside and capture beautiful images of the couple around the Tuscan Rose Vineyards.
With help from Hallee at Tuscan Rose, the ceremony was ready and perfectly displayed. Erica looked amazing in her Veritas Bridal wedding dress, and Jordan looked so handsome in his Tuxedo Junction suit. I even asked what his grandma would say if she saw him now, and he said, “That’s my handsome man!” Haha. So sweet. With help from Zoetry Salon and Decorated Seashore Artistry, our bride was dolled up and ready to marry her man!
We started their elopement at Tuscan Rose Vineyards with a small, intimate ceremony. They exchanged rings, tied the knot as a symbol of their unity, and ended the ceremony with a kiss – the first one as husband and wife!

We made sure to take some dedicated time to get solo portrait shots of both Jordan and Erica separately. Erica had the wind in her favor for the veil shots. She looked so radiant in her dress! As for Jordan, for someone who doesn’t like having their photos taken, he did an amazing job! I told him to think GQ, and honestly, he nailed it.

Erica had a vision of how she wanted her images to look. She also specified which on-site locations she wanted photographed. With plenty of time, we got some amazing images from all over. The weather was moody, gray, and misty from the storms that had passed early that day and from what was coming in just a few hours. But the images still ended up romantic, beautiful, and so joyful! I flew the drone up for a quick shot of them walking, and loved how the images turned out. Because that is how the day felt (and looked). In the end, they finished with blowing out candles on a cake! The candles made up the date of their elopement. I thought this was such a fun, unique way to celebrate, instead of cutting a cake.

It was truly such an honor getting to spend some time with these two and photograph their Tuscan Rose Vineyards Elopement! I loved photographing Erica and Jordan, and I wish them all the best as they continue their journey as husband and wife!
